Welcome to RAKart

The Art of Water, Light, and Memory

My name is Ryan Keene: artist, storyteller, and founder of RAKart.

Rooted in the forests and streams of Central Massachusetts and shaped by the tides of Coastal Maine, I was raised between two landscapes where water and wildness meet. These places etched something deep into me, a reverence for the natural world and a fascination with the quiet, powerful energy that flows through all living things.

That connection finds its way into every brushstroke.

My work explores the beauty, motion, and emotion that nature offers in its most fleeting moments, from the glint of sunlight on a fish’s scales to the stillness of mist rising off a lake. I most often work with watercolor, ink, and acrylics, each medium chosen for how it lets the light through. But art, to me, is a lifelong journey of discovery, so I’m always experimenting, always learning.

RAKart is more than a name, it’s a reflection of the path I walk every day. A practice grounded in gratitude, curiosity, and a deep love for the world around me.

Thank you for stopping by and sharing in this journey. Your presence here means more than you know.-
